Ongoing renovation of Incukalns underground gas storage facility

Conexus Baltic Grid, the Incukalns facility operator, since 2018 has been implementing a 88 million EUR project  to modernise Incukalns UGS, a part of critical gas infrastructure of Latvia, the Baltic states and Finland.

OLIMPS has previously completed the design of gas gathering station No.3.As the winners of the open tender, our company will carry out the construction of the facility.
The project is scheduled to be completed by 2025 and the total funding will exceed EUR 15 million. Within the scope of construction works, the existing gas gathering station with 30 process lines will be dismantled. It will be substituted with a new gas gathering station, including 34 process lines with a maximum operational pressure of 105 bar and  specially designed separators for purification of the gas streams.
